Silver Deal Active
Easy exercise classes where everyone aged 60 and over are welcome to join. This is a FREE physical activity initiative organised by the East Glasgow Community Health and Care Partnership.  Classes are designed with you in mind to help you improve strength, stability, mobility and increase self confidence. Classes at Whitehill Pool (Tues 11.30am), Ladywell Community Hall (Wed 1.15pm) and Wellpark Hall (Thur 12.00pm). There is also a free Arts & Crafts class at Whitehill Pool (Mon 12-1pm). Friends of Alexandra Park
Alexandra Park Walking Group meet on Tuesdays at 7pm, at the main park gates (Alexandra Parade). These walks are suitable for all levels of fitness and everyone is welcome (U16s must be accompanied by a responsible adult).

Dennistoun Slow Spin Cycle Group
This is a new group aimed at inspiring people of all abilities to get on, or back on their bikes. Through the group the intention will be to organise local trips where the emphasis is on having a leisurely cycle with time for chat & stops to admire the views. Of course not forgetting while doing this theres an opportunity to get fit & healthy. If you are interested in coming along or finding out more about the group please email: budgieleeds@yahoo.co.uk

Boot Camp
Boot CampA challenging but fun way to get fit or lose weight outdoors
Boot Camp is run on Saturday mornings at 10am from Alexandra Park main gates. It involves power walking, running, hill sprinting, circuits and drills.  Suitable for all fitness levels and is run by a team of personal trainers and fitness instructors.  The first session is free followed by an 8 week block booking of £50.

Dennistoun Walks
Living It Up organises weekly walks from Whitehill Pool, Onslow Drive every Monday from 9:30am to 1:30pm. The activity programme is to introduce walking to the beginner or for those of you who are only available for a half day walk. All walks will be low level and responsible distances.
