Fire engine access

Fire engines with sirens and flashing lights were delayed gaining access to Cardross Street due to cars parked on both sides of the narrow road at the top of Cardross Street just after 6 last night. Luckily there wasn't a fire this time.

What needs to happen for the council to paint yellow lines and enforce where theres regular dangerous parking in places like this?

At 9am but especially 3pm all the double yellow lines and keep clear areas on Finlay drive / meadowpark street get filled up by parents dropping off and picking up kids at school bringing the streets to grid lock . Heaven help anyone that needs an ambulance or fire engine at those times . A child is going to get killed especially when the parents think it’s ok to let them out in the middle of the street . Celtic games are bad here too .

At least these streets have road markings and yellow lines. Cardross St and surrounding don't.

It's a much more regular occurrence than just school run here as well.

Council and police won't do anything when access is blocked or there is a danger as there are no markings. Council won't mark the roads either though.
