Businesses fundraising for Brownies

60th Glasgow Brownies posted on the 2/02/2017 1:14:32 AM

Hello there

The 60th Glasgow Brownies Unit in Dennistoun are looking for one or two local businesses who might be willing to keep a collection can on site for us.

As we are a charity, we run entirely on a small weekly fee from our girls and the occasional donation and/or fundraising. We try to give as many opportunities to our girls (all aged 7-10) as possible. We do our best to provide them with a varied and interesting programme of activities and trips along with providing them with useful knowledge and skills they might not otherwise be exposed to.

Every little donation helps so if anyone has a shop/restaurant/whatever where they could display one of our collection cans, we'd appreciate it. The odd bit of loose change from your customers could build up and all make a difference to our unit funds.

If you think you can help us out, please let us know! We can be contacted via Facebook/Twitter (search 60th Glasgow Rainbows and Brownies) or email 60thglasgowbrownies at gmail dot com.

Thank you and best wishes from all of us at 60th Glasgow.

Contact Susan Wilson who works in Tesco Parkhead. She does a lot of fundraising for the local community,

Thanks gg, we were actually thinking of contacting Tesco to arrange a bag-packing day so that's good to know.
