... Wondering round Circus Drive/Broompark Drive/Craigpark area this morning. No collar and looks lost. Anyone missing cat of this discription?

He sounds lovely Malarki. I will keep an eye out.

Hey Malarki, any chance he had a splodge on his nose? Might be Albert - he seems to be going further afield these days. Albert is Ginger and white, white bib and a ginger splodge on his nose.

If I see him again I'll check CuriousCat. Was just worried as he was crossing roads without due care and attention. Was bringing one of mine back from Vet at the time otherwise I would have stopped and talked to him.

Thanks, it could be Albert - he seems to have no regard for cars! So far he's been lucky but what can I do - he's a man of the world. :)

Hello, I have seen Albert (splodge on the nose) around whitehill gardens area and the gym recently. As long as he knows what he's doing! ps he's very friendly :)

Hey Richard, That's Albert - talks to everyone :) He's been staying in a bit more since I asked the lady in Onslow to stop feeding him! She hasn't got any cats but feeds all the cats in Dennistoun! I know where to look first when I can't find him.

Curiouscat - we need to find out if this cat is Albert because if it is we need to talk about him. I have taken pictures. Is there some way I can send them to you?

#8 - Curiouscat replied on the 24/11/2017 10:18:46 AM

Can you email them to photos 070309 @ Gmail. Com please? Hope the cat in question is OK. Thanks Malarki

So the snow sent Albert home and I'm looking out the window when I see a cat that looks like Albert running down the street and I think this may be the cat you mean Malarki. Ginger and white with a big nose splodge. I have had this cat in my garden before and I have no idea where it lives but I think it's from the same litter as Albert as the markings are very similar. I hope the cat in question has an owner and was running home for shelter.

Have sent pictures Curious cat - is that Albert?

#11 - curiouscat replied on the 27/11/2017 7:35:50 PM

I haven't received an email. The email address above is active and I've checked a few times since you posted. Can you try and send again please?

#12 - Malarki replied on the 27/11/2017 8:30:12 PM

OK. Have sent again. Wondering if got caught in your spam filter due to size of photos. Sent now as two separate emails.

Still no email I'm afraid. Albert now wears a collar so if this cat doesn't, it's clearly a relative. Hope you get the answers soon.

Will look out for cat in question and check for collar.

Any news on the cat Malarki? I haven't seen it for a few days and wonder if it's OK in this cold weather.

I had a cat in my close on Saturday afternoon with no collar. He ran in when I opened the main door had a wee sniff around and left a few minutes later. It wasn't doing a feed me miaow so it was ok then.

No not seen him for the last few weeks Curiouscat.

#18 - Curiouscat replied on the 21/12/2017 1:42:47 PM

Just had a visit from a large ginger and white cat who I am convinced is related to Albert. Not sure if this is the cat you have seen Malarki but he's beautiful. He's very shy and walks crouched down and I startled him in the hall so he ran away. Not sure if he's stray or not but would happily give him a home if needed. Would be lovely for Albert to have a pal. Hoping he comes back through the cat flap again soon.

#19 - Curiouscat replied on the 28/12/2017 11:02:35 AM

S/he came back on yesterday but Albert saw them off and proceeded to fight with each other in the street for a while. The other cat doesn't seem too hungry so I think it may just be exploring.

Thanks for the updates Curiouscat. No recent sightings here.

#21 - Malarki replied on the 3/01/2018 11:09:21 PM

Cat on question was spotted today. Curiouscat - has Albert still got his collar on?

#22 - Curiouscat replied on the 6/01/2018 10:59:11 PM

Yep, Albert still has his collar on. The other cat was in our back garden yesterday and seemed healthy, well fed and in good condition. I'm sure it's not a stray. Whereabouts did you see it? I have no idea if it's male or female yet.

#23 - Malarki replied on the 7/01/2018 6:48:52 PM

Craigpark/Circus Drive. Pretty sure its male.

#24 - Curiouscat replied on the 8/01/2018 11:13:30 AM

Sounds like he has a large territory if it's the same one I keep seeing. Is he in good shape the one you see?

#25 - anon replied on the 14/01/2018 1:51:28 AM

had that cat in my Garden in Garthland drive a couple of days ago, it was facing off against my wee cat, its definitely not albert, it is a lot bigger and younger that albert, they had a screaming match but my cat eventually persuaded the intruder to leave

#26 - anon replied on the 15/01/2018 8:39:37 PM

I heard the screaming match, 7am the other day, (and a few rematches since), think it was right outside my flat - jumped out my skin. Since then I've seen the wee ginger one in the back yard of our tenement a fair bit. They're both too cute! //
