Vandalism

Annoyed neighbour posted on the 8/01/2016 12:33:46 AM

Just wondering if anyone has seen anybody vandalising close doors tonight between 7.30-8.30? White spray paint. A few close doors have been done!

People have no respect these days.

Not white spray paint but someone vandalised our close door with bigotry. I was away when it happened and it disappoints me that not one other neighbour thought to remove it.

:( Wonder if it's the same boys who were skiving school earlier and trying to gain entry to various closes? Have you reported it? I called 101 and reported them earlier today for the above. This sort of behaviour cracks me up - so mindless.

those schoolboys were also in Garthland Drive and tried to get past my intercom door too but I chased them off, they eventually got into the close next to mine, there were three boys and about half an hour later there were another three boys (one with a bike) But I never saw them with any spray paint

Have you noticed an increased of youths wandering the streets of late? Mixed of boys and girls.
I had reported the painting on our doors and advised not to clean it as wasn't sure what they use so was best to wait for the house to send specialists to come And clean it.
Surely police should be patrolling the streets in evenings with the amount of stuff happening. A neighbour got attacked by these youths the other night in our close. Police came out and everything!! All because asked Them to move away from the close.
