1891 at 142 Ingleby Drive, Dennistoun
Anna HIMMOE (actually PLIMMER) formerly vocalist age 76 b. England (she will be a widow) mother in law to
Jas Yuill aged 31 baker b. Glasgow
his wife Anna E Yuill is aged 34 b. England (formerly music hall artist Annie Plimmer, once known as "Infant Annie" or "Infant Wonder")
their children, all born Glasgow:
Jas E Yuill aged 6
John A Yuill aged 4
Wm Yuill aged 2
Anna M Yuill aged 6mths
by 1901 at 21 Onslow Square, Dennistoun
Anna as Hellon aged 46 b. England
James Yuill aged 41 b. Glasgow as a foreman maker
Maggie Yuill aged 10 b. Glasgow
Anyone with knowledge of family or area around that time most welcome to make contact! (Any grave spotters out there?)
Sadly Scottish Law prevents me from tracing them in the 1911 census so for the time being I'll be counting down the months!!!

Whilst the 1911 census for Scotland is not yet available, the 1911 'valuation rolls' can be accessed at the Mitchell Library in Glasgow. These record Head of House name ... ie James Yuill, his occupation and address in 1911. They do not however register who else is in the house.

Minister: Thomas Sommerville … Minister Blackfriars

Blackfriars House was probably the church manse. This may have been next door to the church itself … according to photographs which can be seen if you Google; Thomas Sommerville Blackfriars Church.
