Glasgow City council have a list of registered child minders in the area so give them a ring.

My oldest went to a private nursery which is no longer open. My youngest is at Westercraigs Nursery which is really good.

I'm not sure whether you are looking for full or part time or how old your child is but there is a severe shortage of spaces in Dennistoun so wherever you decide get your name down quickly!

My daughter attends Seton House Nursery in Seton Terrace, which I find satisfactory. I hear there is a new state of the art nursery opening in August behind the old Great Eastern Hotel in Duke Street. The local library in Craigpark may be able to provide you with a list of local approved child minders.

Both my children went to Westercraigs Nursery (now in the grounds of Whitehill Secondary School) and i'd have no reservation whatsoever about recommending it to anyone.
