Today at St Rollox Bowling Club , St.Andrew's flag is back in it's rightful position and is flying high.
Scottish and proud of it.

I don't see any reason for not flying the Union Jack .. lets face it we are all part of a bigger community and should look at the bigger picture or are we so blinded by the shouts for independance that we can't see that we all need to pull together. There are still people in the UK that are homeless and starving, people dieing in other countries and we have to quibble about a flag.
Hang your heads in shame!

I thought most places with a flagpole would be flying the union jack last weekend. It was Armed Forces Day last saturday and I believe most residence of the UK understand it is a British Armed Forces!!! So why not respect all the girls and guys who have and still fighting for our country.

Love the St Andrews, well done MM if others want to start another thread on "homeless and starving" they can take it up on their own post, nothing against the union jack but consider myself very Scottish and very proud. Anon should "hang their heads in shame" for being such a riddy in the first place x We all know we are part of the bigger picture but love that we are who we truly are, happy Scotts x
