Where to buy?.........

My washing machine has finally broke after years of service. Where can I buy a cheap, used washing machine? Thanks.

Look up the "Gumtree" website and check Glasgows section.

not used but new!
I don't know how much you have or want to spend but I bought a very good brand new BEKO A++ cheap washing machine online from a company called Electrical 123 [dot] com. They are in manchester and sell loads of electrical stuff. The guys delivered it from manchester carried it up 3 flights, unpacked it,took away all the packing etc and my old machine all for £160 and it washes and spins like a dream. I was mightly impressed especially as I have an aversion to buying electrical things on line in case they go wonky!

Mr Crumb in the High Street often has scratch and dent stuff.
If buying second hand avoid the second hand shops on Duke Street, they are very expensive for what they have and a tad cowboyish.
Currys have a scratch and dent place in Possil Park but the discounts aren't always that big.
There is apparently a place on Victoria Road I've heard of that does reconditioned machines but I've never used it myself or know anyone who has.
Cheers

We got our washer/dryer at the Currys scratch and dent for a reasonable price and they fitted it and took away the other for a small fee as well. Was in argos today looking for something else and spotted a washing machine for a little over £100. I suppose it depends what you are looking to spend but maybe worth a look!

thanks everyone. i almost got one in gumtree, but it was sold to someone else. got one in the forge market, which was very reasonable so would recommend that to anyone else looking for one.
