New Digital Advertising Display on Parade
An electronic double sided advertising display is being installed at the corner of Alexandra Parade / Wishart Street. Installation includes improvement of the surrounding grassed area with a pedestrian footpath, trees and benches. [Wildstone Media Consulting]

Alexandra Parade Railway Station

The temporary red and white barrier running along Alexandra Parade at the pavement near the stairs to the station was damaged and has been replaced by a permanent one.

Ticket machines are now installed on both platforms of the station. Passengers disembarking at Queen Street station no longer have to join long queues to pay for a ticket to exit the turnstyles.

Nextbike will be expanding their bike hire scheme this autumn with a new base expected to be located at Alexandra Parade station in September 2017. [Forum]
