 Alexandra Park

Alexandra Park Spring 2002
The public park, popular with the local resident's, has three bowling greens, putting green, a nine hole golf course, duck pond, boating pond, children's safe playing area, sports centre and football pitches. The park was originally the old estate of Kennie Hill and the road leading to it was named in honour of the Princess who officially opened it in 1870. She later became Queen Alexandra, wife of King Edward Vll.
